Redesign of Corporate website to reflect the Brand.
Our objective was to promote the ML brand through imagery and colours.
While the existing Microland site was very informative, it didn’t create a strong brand image or reflect the high tech environment and processes of Microland. Our challenge was to redesign the site to reflect the brand, retaining the depth of information while at the same time making it look current, international and high tech.

The site was had owners from Marketing and Sales as well as top management – so the process involved understanding the objectives of each stakeholder and trying to provide options that meet all the objectives. The imagery on the site had to be a combination of photographs of the facility and stock images. To keep things interesting we came up with a series of images of nature that could abstractly represent concepts like “Networking” “Remote infrastructure management” etc. We also created graphical representations of various processes to break the text and make things simpler to understand.
The final design resulted in a very professional corporate website that could stand on par with any of the leading IT players and strongly reinforced the Microland brand. We also redesigned their corporate presentation to complement the site and created a style guide to follow for future updates.
“We now have a easy to navigate website with a professional look and feel.
All this was possible due to the structured approach taken by the Design Cell. Prior to the design, they conducted a benchmarking study of user navigation and content structure and provided design options based on the same. Our inputs in the design options were incorporated promptly.
The knowledge management portal design was based on their consulting approach. They interacted with a sample set of stakeholders spread across geographies and did in-house research on similar portals. The final design incorporated information structure which suited requirements of all stakeholders.”
